Michelin-starred restaurant Claudia, known for their 9-course tasting menu, seeks an instrumental-only, sonic canvas.

It began as a commissioned DJ mix for the grand opening of Claudia, a well-respected restaurant in Chicago. I scoured the Chicago and Detroit music landscape to emanate the instrumental, city soundscape with much of the music being B-side tracks from underground albums. In the process of designing the sound, the initial mix was deemed “too funky.” Finding the humor in it, I created a series for the mix to thrive. B-Side Mixed Reviews was born with the response I got as the warning label for bonus.
